Pryce (Trent Wolfred) is an aspiring filmmaker who dabbles in odd jobs on the side. He’s also Caroline‘s current boy toy, but since his approach to romance is so quirky, it’s hard to tell if he’s interested in anything other than a casual relationship. It’s also hard to tell what — if anything — he actually does for a living…
Pryce’s “Finest Moments”:
“Rabbit” — Pryce stumbles into the Affogato cafe… accidentally.
“Car Trouble” — Pryce’s patience wears thin when Dierdre’s dead battery kills his mojo.
“Office Politics” — Pryce (badly) surprises Caroline at the end of a very bad day.
“Occupational Therapy” — When Caroline and Dierdre need help, it’s Pryce to the rescue.
“Rich’s Sex Therapy” — Pryce’s love for the Pittsburgh Penguins cannot be overstated.
Trent Wolfred is a pretty okay guy. He has a steady job. He has an apartment in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood. He votes. He drinks in moderation, albeit frequently. He does some acting outside of STBD, though it’s not likely you’ve seen him in anything else. When you compliment Trent on his hair, he secretly likes it. He plays drums and will occasionally ramble on about how he used to be in a band. He supports public radio. He has, at times, been accused of being argumentative, and this accusation is not entirely without substantiation. Finally, you should know that Trent has a serious addiction to nicotine gum. Like, it’s been over two years and it shows no signs of slowing. If you look closely, you can even catch him chewing it, quite unprofessionally, during certain episodes of STBD. (You could make a drinking game out of this activity.)
