Gloria Von Oosterhaus (Teresa Trich) is the best-selling author in Vanity Press history — but that’s not all it’s cracked up to be. When her chance pairing with Leo turned her chick-lit Alexandra series into a pulpy, sci-fi drenched page-turner, sales skyrocketed, even as Gloria’s self-worth (and mental health) plummeted. This resulted in an ill-advised tryst with Rich that ended before he could even… rise to the occasion… Since Liz‘s death, Gloria has found solace in new age remedies, though her mental stability will forever be up for debate.
Gloria’s “Finest Moments”:
“Inebriation” — Rich introduces Gloria as Vanity Press’s “cash cow.”
“Misappropriation” — Liz learns that “Gloria” and “deadlines” do not mesh well.
“Dierdre’s Other Gift” — Gloria and Leo hammer out very different versions of the same story.
“Signing the Contract” — Vanity Press + Hollywood = headaches.
